Dream Big! Drama Workshop – Mary Benzies and Rachel Lewin – Ages 8-11

Ages 8-11

Join us as we create the world of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. Walk in the shoes of the colourful characters we find deep in the enchanted forest. This fun and practical workshop for 8 to 11-year-olds, will bring to life Shakespeare’s classic tale of magic, mystery and mayhem through games, characterisation and lively storytelling!

Tolethorpe Youth Drama offers a full, immersive, year-long programme of classes, workshops, productions and festivals. Children and young people are trained in and exposed to all aspects of Drama, Theatre-Making, and Performing Arts. As an integral part of the renowned Stamford Shakespeare Company, TYD benefits from its association with the company and its incredible facilities, including the six hundred seat open air Rutland Theatre. Rachel Lewin and Mary Benzies, part of TYD’s teaching team, bring a background in the professional industry and extensive experience in their craft. They are delighted to be leading two exciting workshops as part of the online festival.
