Living in Harmony with Teenagers – Joy Morgan – Parent Session

Parent Session

The teenage years can be tricky for children and parents alike. It’s their time to explore, work out who they are independently of their parents and, of course, to push a few boundaries. Adolescence is a time of great change in the brain and this has important implications for behaviour. Add high learning potential to this mix and it all gets a lot trickier.

This workshop will draw on the research into development and behaviour management to explore tried and tested strategies for creating the harmony we all aim for. Our children are only teenagers once so it needs to be a happy, fulfilling time for them and their families.

Session Presenter

Joy Morgan

Joy Morgan taught in secondary schools for over 40 years so she has long experience of working with teenagers! This, combined with being a parent and doing most of a Master’s Degree on the Psychology of Behaviour, has given her plenty of experience in promoting the behaviours we want from our young people.
