  • The booking party is responsible for ensuring that adequate hardware and software is in place to enable your access to the session.

  •  We are not affiliated to any applications which may be used in the delivery of the session and are not responsible for technical issues which may occur within them.

Safeguarding and Interactions

We are committed to providing a safe learning environment. Parents, carers or teachers should always be present when children are participating.

Questions can be submitted via the Chat function to the session host. Please ensure all contributions are polite, respectful and on-topic.

We reserve the right to terminate the session at any point or to eject individuals who we consider to be behaving in breach of our safeguarding policy or expected code of conduct. The safety of children is everyone’s responsibility and this is reflected in Potential Plus UK’s Safeguarding Policy. Safeguarding always overrides confidentiality: the welfare of the child is paramount. If you have any questions about this, please do not hesitate to ask.

Please be aware that some sessions will have a set time for questions to be put to the presenter and these will be curated by the host according to time restrictions, relevance and suitability.  It is complex for presenters and hosts to scan the chat box whilst delivering their session, so please exercise patience if anything is missed and try again at an opportune moment. It may not be possible for presenters to answer all questions.

Potential Plus UK is not responsible for the content of any external website links which it may provide on behalf of session presenters. Please check content before sharing with children.

Data Protection

Your personal information will be used for processing your application, responding to any enquiry you make, and for generating aggregated, anonymised data for reporting to funders.

During the festival we will use your email details to send you reminders about the sessions that are available. Where you have indicated that you are happy to receive information from Potential Plus UK, your email details will then be held allowing us to contact you regarding further information you may be interested in.

All data held about registrants by Potential Plus UK will be treated as confidential, in line with our Privacy Policy
